Donington Park and Dorna WSBK Organization (DWO) are proud to announce that the Leicestershire circuit will once again host the only British Round of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship next year, with the date confirmed for 26th-28th May 2017.

Retaining the now traditional late May race date, the weekend will once more feature two championship points scoring races from the Superbike World Championship, with strong support from the equally exciting competitions of World Supersport and Superstock 1000. Donington will also host the new Supersport 300 category as well as a variety of British National races.

The 2016 Donington event saw an attendance increase of 15% over that of 2015, boosted by the presence of top British riders in the World Championship, as well as the circuit’s popular initiatives including the Entertainment Zones and the all-new Infield Campsite with its superb trackside viewing that was introduced just this year. Both of these features will return, and will be further enhanced in 2017.

In 2017, with a British Champion again now confirmed as 2016’s Jonathan Rea from Northern Ireland, and a number of fresh initiatives from Dorna and ourselves, we look forward to once again welcoming significant spectator numbers to Donington Park, for the only UK Round of this World class Championship.”
